I feel this book puts things in perspective, back in the days where people worked to where they got to in life, where they appreciate what they're doing, appreciate the "little people" because it was not long before that they were there themselves. Again, after a few chapters you feel like the characters are old friends and you have to keep reading to find out what happens to them.
